This was a difficult post to put together because there are so many options and ideas out there for posing, but I decided to focus on these five posing apps for today's post. We also have some great posing guides of our own (linked at the bottom of this post).
You know it and you love it. But did you know you can use it on your shoots? I use this app in so many different ways for posing. I have several boards for the different types of photography that I do. These boards are great for looking at before my shoot or finding new posing ideas. They can even be used to show clients a pose if they are having difficulty visualizing what you'd like them to do.
The range of options and ways you can utilize the Pinterest app for posing are endless! We (Pretty Presets for Lightroom) also have a great Pinterest board for posing you can follow here.

Up next is an app you may not have heard about. But if you have heard of it, you may not have realized how it could potentially work for your business! This app has a free trial and then a monthly subscription.
Texture by next issue allows you to access more than 100 magazines of all types and genres. Not only is it great for inspiration between shoots, but the screenshots you can take and use from the magazines themselves allow you access to all of those magazines, from several months past even, and access the images that you love on your mobile phone.
Note: Texture was purchased by Apple and rolled into their Apple News app.

I know we mentioned the Photos App that comes with your Android phone or iPhone in our previous photography app post but it deserves another mention here. The ability to access and use any screenshots from Next Issue, Pinterest or anywhere else you found them even if you don't have an internet connection is priceless! Having it as a free standard app on your phone makes it even better.
You can also use your iBook app (also automatically included on your iPhone) to access any photographer PDF posing guides you may have previously purchased.
This Posing App is perfect for learning and seeing photography poses. This app is a one-stop posing solution when you are out of posing ideas. With drawings that will allow you to mentally place your clients into posing positions, it's a great way to get a general idea of how you want your clients to pose.
I've really been impressed that this app includes posing ideas for couples, weddings, groups and children. This app does have a small cost but the cost is well worth the price.

If you prefer a posing app that has photos instead of drawings, this next app might be the one you are looking for. This app contains images to show the poses along with descriptions of the poses for both men and women.
This app has a lite (free version) as well as a version you can purchase.
