When we posted our latest challenge, I don't think we had any idea how many beautiful pets we would have the pleasure of meeting. For many of us, our beloved pets are just as much a part of our family as our humans. Pets have an innate ability to comfort the human soul, which only allows us to become even closer to them. Thank you for taking the time to share these special members of your family with us.
Below are our 2 winners and 8 honorable mentions that we fell in love with, too. If you were one of the images featured, please be sure to grab a button, showcasing that you were featured on our website or group page. Thank you for sharing your talent with us today! Enjoy browsing through these images. For our winners, please email us at support@prettypresets.com. Thank you for making this photo challenge so much fun!
This is my husband with his girl Maggie on her last day with us here on Earth. She was 13 years old and had cancer. She was having trouble walking and we could tell that she was hurting. The next day she would pass away. While I was getting a few pictures of her, my husband needed a moment because he was so overcome with grief. This moment struck me as so beautiful and raw because even though Maggie was the one suffering in physical pain, her loyalty and sense of duty did not fade. She stood there by his side protecting him, as always, as she graciously did for so many years.

Tips for photographing in the fog? I just tried to expose so that I don't loose shadows or highlights. This was shot with Canon 6D and 85mm/1.8, f/4, 1/400sec, ISO 400.

You guys! Doesn't she look like a modern Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?!! In the moment this shot was so exciting to capture... and then I had to snap out of it to chase a pup with a mouth full of treats... Because you can't expect a client in red suede heels to go running through the woods. Haaaa!
